Migrating from audiobase 2 to Audiobase 3 extreme

Running AB2 on 6 qdc's via medialink server.
connected 2 xynergie systems (soon to be 6).

Originally imported sfx libraries and CD's via AV transfer into separate .mt projects.
Then published from the .mt's.

AB3 doesn't seem to have facility to search via .mt's.

Can we import or translate existing AB2 search list to allow searching from .mt files or do we have to export all the old files as .wavs and re- publish?

Took about 3 months to translate the files from our old systems to QDCs.
Not looking forward to doing it all ovr again.

Obviously any new files will be .wavs or imported via itunes.

any help?
